With reference to your D.O. No. C/L-21 dated
18th May 1948, I enquired from His Highness whether
he approved of Shaikh Khalifah bin Mohamed being
nominated as a visitor to Great Britain and he
approved of the suggestion. Shaikh Khalifah will
be very pleased to accept the invitation.
The most suitable time for Shaikh Khalifah*s
visit, as far as we are concerned, would be from
about the middle of June till about the end of
July. If these dates will suit the British Council
we will apply for an air passage at once.
It is understood that the Bahrain Government
will pay fibr the air passage to and from Great
Britain.
I enclose the form giving details about
Shaikh Khalifah.
