The letter is conveying intelligence the Resident has received regarding the location of the Country Ship Rhaim Shaw , which fled the Bushire Roads as a result of the arrest of the Governor of Bushire, Mahomed Jaffer Kaun [Muḥammad Ja‘afar Khān]; the Captain of the HC Cruizer Ternate has been tasked with finding and returning the ship in question, and is instructed to proceed to Bussora [Basra] in search of her.
