The letter is acknowledging the commands of the Bombay Government dated 6 May 1811, which contained instructions to continue the payment of Jaffer Ali Khan's [Ja‘afar ‘Alī Khān] pension, that the allowance to Mrs Restans has ceased and that the expenses for 'the stud' ceased on Sir Gore Ousely's arrival at Bushire.
