The letter is acknowledging the commands of the Bombay Government dated 1 May 1811, which informed the Resident that any requests from Sir Gore Ouseley for supplies from the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. stores are to be complied with.
