The letter is informing the Bombay Government of an oversight by a merchant, Arratoon, which has resulted in the British Persian Mission being credited 800 Rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. . It also notes that Lieutenant Henry Willock has had a sum advanced to him as per the instructions of Government.
