fxying a Turkish Flag and using a spurious rubber seal, to
poae ao a Turkish Consular official and, under this guise,
to oake difficulties for our Agent by encoxiraging vial tore
from Oman or Bahrein to accept his protection, end in other
to
ways. Me have repeatedly complained /the Governor of the
uuli Porta of the conduct of this Persian and also to His
uajesty'is Legation. While Muhasmad Abdul la has always been
repudiated he has never been auppreoeed, until last year
when the Darya Begi in pursuance of orders received fro®
Tehran took the opportunity afforded by a personal visit
to Lingah to have Muheciraad Abdullah Flagstaff removed.
Soon after this incident, the Wall of iiusreh, who properly
speaking would appear to have no status to interfere in
affaire on the Persian Coast, sent « reprtaentativ# domi
to Lingah who?- MUh^mad Abdulla took steps to craa with
garbled stories of his ill-treatment by the Darya ifegi t
and this has now resulted in a conrdaint against the Darya
Begi by the Turkish Legation and a deeaand that the Governor
of the Gulf porta should give satisfaction. A telegram
recently received by His Excellency from the Persian
Foreign Minister quotes Haean Saaaiyah as being one of
