Short note that acknowledges letters received from Bombay and explains that the Eagle Snow's sudden dispatch express to Bombay (with a declaration of war) prevented earlier acknowledgement via the Eagle Snow. Shipped by Ormuze [Hormuz] Gallivat. A note states that a duplicate of the message was sent on 8 January 1779.
