211. The following amendment is made to General Routine Order No. 37, of 9th
January, 1918
“Infantry Battalions (British and Indian) ... each, 7.”
Add:—“ Except those battalions under the I.G.C., to whom issue will be restricted
to 2 D III telephones for instructional purposes.
Any DIII telephones, in excess of 2 on charge of battalions under the I G C„
should be returned to Ordnance charge. They will be replaced by telephones other than
Stevens or D III.”—Q-49.
