DISPOSAL OF KITS
1358. (i) Force Routine Order No. 607, dated the 19th April, 1916, is cancelled
and the following is substituted :
1 There are at present stored in Base Depots at Basrah and Amarah an excessive
number of kits of both British and Indian troops, the property of men at the front,
invalided or sent to India for other reasons, as well as of men deceased.
T ’ ord er to facilitate the disposal of these kits and such kits as may from time
to time continue to be stored at Basrah and Amarah the following procedure will be
adopted. All previous orders regarding kit are cancelled.
