Albahrani. I keep a look-out for him, but he has no business connections ; I never see
anything of him, he lives entirely with his relations. That is the reason for my not
having done anything; it is not from inattention. Further, we ask you to inform us
about the result of the exertions of brother Abdallah-ibn-Hassan concerning the red
oxide at Calcutta, and also about the second

have not heard how the matter ended. If Abdallah has been engaged in lawsuits at
Calcutta for the last four years, and has been making incredible exertions in this hope

would surely be better for him to return and other arrangements to be made.

I hereby declare that on the 17th March, 1908, at Bunder Abbas, Nedjef-ben-
Nakhoda All, in the presence of Ghullum Ali Khorassani, representative of the firm of
Jemshid Bahemen, offered to sell me the share certificate of his father, as well as all
papers and correspondence relating to the red oxide business on the Island oi Abu Musa
which are in his hands.
Nedjef wants from 4,000 to 6,000 rupees ; I knew that Hage Hassan-ben-Semey,
Abdulla-ben Hassan, and Isa-ben-Abdullatif disputed the validity of the share certificate,
and had declared that it was personal and lapsed with the death of Hage Nakhoda Ali;
for these reasons 1 declined to buy the papers at this high price.
On this occasion Nedjef further declared,
