1367. Reference Force Routine Order No. 564, April 11th, 1916.
The Camp Commandant, Makina, is hereby invested with the powers of a Military
Governor within the limits of the Makina Area, viz.:—
To the North, the Jubaila Creek ;
To the South, the Robat Creek ;
To the East, the Shatt-al-Arab;
To the West, the desert up to and including the Railway Embankment;
and authorised in pursuance thereof to indict sentences of 30 days’ I.H.L., Ks. 50/- fine,
and twelve lashes.
1368. It is notified for information that No. 1 Bridging Train was re-constituted
with effect from 18th July, 1916.
1369. The following promotions have been made
2nd Battalion, 7th Gurkha liijles.
Jemadars Tekbir Limbu, Jitbahadur Rai, and Dhaulbir Rai to be Subadars, Colour-
Havildar
Custodian; police sergeant; jail or prison guard.
