present unsatisfactory state of affairs should cease. Therefore
in spite of the insincere action of the tribes over the Sib
negotiations, if fully authorised representatives of the tribes
of Oman meet the political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. at Sib before the 15th August
and return the property which they have psssesodd, and should

Agent on behalf of the Great and Glorious Government will
exercise his good offices to procure a lasting agreement.
