A belated account of my recent tour of the Trucial
Coaet may be of interest, and I have endeavoured to gi'v2 a
general impreesion rather than to dispose of important
questions which have been the subject of special referei .oe6.
We left Kuwait with a threatening slsj and sea, and
next day it blew a north-westerly gale. The Tfearohua is s

direction we should have undoubtedly been obliged to heave
