Letter thanking the Captain for his explanations with regards to the runaway slaves and Goolam Ali [Ghulam 'Ali].
A postscript to the letter returns the articles of agreement for crew, an order for 40 tons of coal which he can collect at Bassidore and requesting that he deliver a packet to Colonel Lewis Pelly's address either at Bunder Abbass [Bandar Abbas] or Muskat [Muscat].
